CHARTR®
EP (Evoked Potential)
CHARTR® EP (Evoked Potential) and CHARTR EP with ASSR upgrade
Our latest software includes:
Vestibular evoked myogenic potential testing (VEMP), which is
a capability integrated within CHARTR EP that allows for assessment
of the saccule and related nerve pathway.
Auditory Steady-State Response testing (ASSR), RapidASSR ™ is
an upgrade that provides an automated method for obtaining frequency
specific audiometric thresholds.
CHARTR EP
is the industry's premier Windows-based system for auditory evoked
potential diagnostics.

CHARTR EP 4.0 includes an upgrade option for Auditory Steady
State Response (ASSR). Two search methods are provided
(1) a “quick search” automated algorithm that “brackets” a patient’s
hearing thresholds by performing an optimal series of tests at
varying intensities and
(2) a “straight descent” method that follows a preset (by the
customer) decreasing intensity step pattern. The ASSR technique
takes advantage of the fact that a stimulus consisting of multiple
modulated pure tones can be used to obtain frequency-specific
thresholds. This enables a complete audiogram to be determined
in less time than it would take to test each frequency individually.
Advanced diagnostic system
CHARTR EP provides a simple, user-friendly platform for evaluating
the functional integrity of the auditory brainstem pathways. Providing
both air and bone conducted clicks and tone bursts, CHARTR EP
assists the audiologist in assessing the conductive and sensorineural
pathways involved in auditory function. Advance your diagnostic
capabilities with conveniences such as a portable unit for multi-site
mobility, and default protocols (or user-defined protocols) initiated
at start up.

Our enhanced pediatric system includes PediABR, which is a capability
integrated within CHARTR EP that allows for fast accurate assessment
of babies' hearing. PediABR includes built-in protocols for infant
screening (PediScreen); bone conducted ABR's (PediBone) and tone
burst evoked thresholds (PediTone). It also includes a PediGram,
which plots tone burst threshold information on a graph similar
to an audiogram.
Additional features include continuous stimulation, cortical
tests (P300 and MMN), MLR, LLR, ECoG and age-sensitive normative
data.
Integration: Leading health organizations now recommend using
both auditory brainstem response (ABR) and otoacoustic emissions
(OAE) data in screening and follow-up applications associated
with identifying infants with hearing loss. ICS supports this
multiple modality approach to audiologic evaluation with technology
that enables true integration using CHARTR EP with PediABR and
CHARTR OAE with Tymp.
