Aurical™
Computerized
audiometry and fitting, the modular way
One Aurical
- compact and easily portable - can meet the equipment needs of
an entire audiology and dispensing clinic.
|
Two or more
Auricals, networked together, can meet the needs of a busy, multi-station
practice or a chain of hearing instrument dispensers.
That's because
Aurical is not only comprehensive, it's modular. A single Aurical
can provide advanced audiometry (HL or SPL), automated loudness
scaling, real ear measurement, NOAH™/ HI-PRO hearing instrument
programming, and 2cc coupler hearing instrument testing, - or
any combination of the above, depending on which options are selected.
|
To speed patient flow, you could have an Aurical dedicated to
performing audiometry in a test room, and another in a fitting
room for hearing instrument programming and real ear measurement.
PC-based
- of course
Aurical's
modularity is possible because Aurical is PC- and Windows®-based.
Besides modularity, computerized audiology offers several advantages
over the traditional stand-alone approach.
One advantage
is adaptability. As PCs become more powerful, so does the PC-based
Aurical. Users can upgrade their Aurical systems with new software,
instead of having to buy new hardware. Another advantage is information
sharing. Information from Aurical can be networked between offices
or remote sites. Now Aurical's can be added to the network to
accommodate a growing practice or chain. Even equipment diagnostics
and troubleshooting can be handled via modem.
